Robert Hurley (born 26 September 1988 in Melbourne) is an Australian swimmer[1] and former world record holder in the short-course (25m) 50 metres backstroke. In 2009 he won a bronze medal as a team member on the 4x200m freestyle relay at the FINA World Championships in Rome.
Hurley is a middle and distance freestyle specialist.

Hurley competed at the 2008 World Short Course Championships in Manchester, England. He swam in six events and picked up a gold medal in the 4x200m freestyle relay as a heat swimmer.
